OK, so you guys know I’m a little stiletto obsessed ('the higher, the better' is my mantra!!), but as a mom to a toddler, there is definitely a time and a place for flats! These flats are so cute. I love the fossil color (such a pretty shade of green), and the straps on the upper. These flats are perfect to wear with jeans or even casual skirts or dresses. They are also available in a dark red patent, which is another perfect color for fall!

I must admit that I’m usually not a huge fan of Oscar’s shoes. They usually just tend to look a little too demure and too old for me or they just don’t speak to me. But I do love these fan satin sandals! The fan detail and ankle strap look really nice on the leg. They are very pretty and elegant! Perfect for an evening out…that is an elegant evening out! I wouldn’t say these are young or edgy, but still I would wear them for a nice dinner or going to a dressier event or party.

Although I like the edginess and funkiness of these shoes, they still look weird. They remind me a little of Geishas shoes meet pogo sticks!! The world might feel different perched on such heels, but I am very concerned about the safety of our ankles.

These shoes could be fun to wear to a seated event only, but the price tag remains really high for such a pair of shoes that you can only wear rarely.

As I went rushing to Barneys to find some dresses that I could wear at two press conferences that I am going to attend this coming week for my charity APCH and for Mothers Against Gang Violence, I came across these magnificent Lanvin pumps.

I knew I had to have them! Although they are a little pricey, these shoes are the pinnacle of elegance and sexiness. I love the fact that they also are timeless, which explains my need to buy them!

I will wear them with everything! Seriously they can be worn from morning to night with no problem, and they can be dressed down by pairing them with jeans or skinny pants.

 How adorable are these? I love the laser cut suede; it can work for summer and even into fall because of the material and the dusty rose color.  I'd do these with skinny jeans, leggings, dresses, you name it.  Very versatile color and shape.

These flats are sooooo cute! And look at the price! Wow! I love the asymmetrical bow detail and the bright fuchsia color. You can also get them in a basic black and a deep teal. At this price, you can definitely splurge and get more than one! I think these flats would be super cute with a summer skirt and cardigan—I’m picturing almost a 50s retro feel! They’d also be perfect for a nicer outfit when a dressier outfit is required, but you can’t wear high heels, for whatever reason (say you’re 9 mos. pregnant with swollen ankles…)

Imagine you're getting dressed for a run-in with your ex and his new girlfriend! What can you possibly wear to exude sexiness without trying too hard? These are the shoes for you! There's no way you're NOT going to look hot and confident in these babies! Men (well at least my husband) never understand the mystery behind what shoes can do for a woman, but they really do give you an extra edge! I can feel frumpy, but if I put on my sexiest loubies or Jimmy Choos, I immediately feel better!

These Jimmy Choos are the quintessential booties, and every woman needs a basic shoe like this in her closet. The severity of the pointed toe and the stiletto heel look so sexy especially when worn with jeans. And again, I love that there’s a platform! These booties are also available in a black calf leather, but I prefer the patent.

I talked about how purple is a huge trend for fall on Tuesday. The Stuart Weitzman pumps I showed you were fun and funky. These sandals are a great example of a subtle, elegant version of purple. They are just so pretty and delicate. I love the metallic leather. They would be gorgeous for a night out or even a luncheon. Obviously they would look great with black, but I’d pair them with cream as well. And they work for any season. You can start wearing them now, and into the fall and winter.
